A protein derived from Staphylococcus aureus comprising an amino acid sequence and a corresponding nucleotide sequence. The S. cerevisiae has a specific amino acid sequence. aureus-derived protein, a protein having 50% or more sequence identity with the protein, and a nucleic acid molecule encoding the protein. These proteins include homologs, orthologs, allelic variants and functional variants. These proteins are also useful as targets for vaccines, immunogenic compositions, diagnostic studies, enzyme studies and antibiotics. [Selection figure] None |
