The present invention provides a polyvinyl acetal composition and a polyvinyl acetal sheet that suppresses self-adhesion when formed into a sheet and is excellent in handleability. The polyvinyl acetal contains at least 8 to 25% by mass of vinyl alcohol units and 0.1 to 15% by mass of fatty acid vinyl ester units, and includes at least polyvinyl acetal and polyvinyl acetate. The average degree of polymerization is 150 to 3500, and the polyvinyl acetate is a polyvinyl acetal composition contained in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyvinyl acetal.
