PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cell growth inhibitor. A therapeutic agent comprising an anti-glypican 3 antibody as an active ingredient, and a therapeutic preparation comprising the anti-glypican 3 antibody and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or additive are disclosed. Preferably, the therapeutic preparation of the present invention is a cell growth inhibitor. Also preferably, the anti-glypican 3 antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
