An improved tire having a component including short fibers is provided. The present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire including at least one part, the at least one part including a rubber composition, and the rubber composition includes a diene elastomer and 1 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the elastomer. Part of the polymer nanofibers having a thickness in the range of 20-200 nm. Preferably, the nanofiber comprises a polymer selected from polyvinyl alcohol, polyamide, polyaramid, and polyester.
