abstract | An object of the present invention is to solve the problems of a catalyst component for polymerization and a method for producing an α-olefin polymer, which have excellent properties such as stereoregularity and catalytic activity. An α-olefin polymerization characterized by reacting and precipitating a polymer silicon compound in a homogeneous solution composed of a magnesium compound, a titanium compound, and a specific aromatic compound, and further treating with a halogen compound. A solid catalyst component (A1) is prepared. This solid polymerization component (A1) is further contact-treated with a specific silicon compound and organoaluminum compound to prepare a solid catalyst component (A). An α-olefin polymer is produced using (B) an organoaluminum compound and / or (C) an organosilicon compound for the solid catalyst component (A1) or (A). [Selection figure] None |
