abstract | An adhesive layer, a transparent protective film, and a liquid crystal optical compensation layer are provided in this order on at least one side of a polarizer, and an adhesive layer and a transparent protective film are provided on the other side in this order. The liquid crystal optical compensation layer is a liquid crystal optical compensation layer obtained by tilting and aligning the optical axis of the liquid crystal, and at least one of the transparent protective film A and the transparent protective film B is a glutarimide unit.
