abstract An electrophotographic photoreceptor suitable for a short-wavelength semiconductor laser capable of increasing the resolution of an image is provided. An electrophotographic photosensitive member has high sensitivity characteristics with respect to a semiconductor laser beam having a wavelength of 380 to 500 nm, and the charge transport layer of the laminated photosensitive layer is represented by the general formula (1) as a charge transport material.
