abstract | The present invention provides a method for easily producing an organic compound having a nitrogen atom-containing group such as oxime from an inexpensive raw material under mild conditions. SOLUTION: Using a nitrogen atom-containing cyclic compound having a specific structure as a catalyst, a radical (A) capable of generating a radical is reacted with a nitrite (B) generated in the reaction system, so that the radical can be generated. A nitrogen-containing organic compound such as an oxime compound in which a nitrogen atom-containing group is bonded to the radical generation site of the compound (A), an oxygen-containing organic compound in which an oxygen atom-containing group is bonded to the radical generation site, and a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond content An organic compound having a group can be efficiently produced from a readily available raw material under a mild condition with a simple operation. Further, since the nitrite (B) is generated in the reaction system and used for the reaction, it is not necessary to separately generate the nitrite (B). It can be simplified.
