Administration of vascular targeting factors (particularly tubulin binding agents) for the treatment of malignant or non-malignant angioproliferative disorders in ocular tissues. The present invention relates to vascular targeting for the treatment of ocular neovascularization, ocular tumors, and conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, retinoblastoma and macular degeneration. It relates to the administration of drugs, in particular tubulin binding drugs. The present invention provides a method for treating an ophthalmic disease comprising the following steps: a) preparing a dosage containing a pharmaceutically effective dosage of a tubulin binding agent; b) Administering the pharmaceutically effective dosage to a subject in need of such treatment.
