abstract | A resist layer, a metal layer having a thickness of 1 to 20 μm, and a glass paste layer are laminated in this order on a support film, and the glass paste layer is a monomer having glass powder and a hydrophilic group. A metal pattern forming transfer film containing a binder resin having a component derived from 5% by mass or less, and a metal pattern forming method performed by forming these layers. [Effect] According to the transfer film for forming a metal pattern and the metal pattern forming method of the present invention, an electrode having a low resistance can be manufactured, and in the development process, the transparency of the FPD member is maintained and the glass of the metal foil is maintained.
