abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide an optical compensation film, an optical compensation film having excellent productivity, few orientation defects in the optically anisotropic layer, and excellent wet heat durability in the adhesion between the support and the optically anisotropic layer. It is providing the manufacturing method of a compensation film, a polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display device. In a method for producing an optical compensation film having an intermediate layer and an optically anisotropic layer on a transparent support, the intermediate layer is applied by an inkjet method using a liquid composition containing a urethane acrylate oligomer or an acrylate oligomer. A method for producing an optical compensation film, comprising forming an optically anisotropic layer formed thereon and then vertically fixing a vertically aligned rod-like liquid crystal.
