abstract | A CNT growth substrate capable of continuously growing relatively long CNTs and a CNT manufacturing method using the same. An anodized alumina film having gas permeability, a porous protective layer having gas permeability formed on a surface of the anodized alumina film, and a porous protective layer supported on the porous protective layer. A CNT growth substrate 20 including the CNT growth catalyst 14 and a source gas containing a carbon source is supplied to the surface of the CNT growth substrate 20 to grow CNTs 30 on the surface of the CNT growth substrate 20. A method for producing CNTs comprising a growth step. The CNT growth substrate preferably further includes a porous substrate 22 that supports the anodized alumina film 12. The growth step is preferably performed by supplying a source gas from the support surface of the CNT growth catalyst 14 of the CNT growth substrate 20 toward the back surface. [Selection] Figure 1 |
