titleOfInvention | Minor actinide separation method and separation apparatus |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for separating a minor actinide that does not use an organic solvent, has a small amount of secondary radioactive waste, and can be treated in a large amount. A method for separating a minor actinoid according to the present invention comprises separating a minor actinoid from a mixture in which a minor actinide and a rare earth element coexist by capillary electrophoresis using an aqueous solution containing thiocyanate ions as a migration medium. In the separation method, the mixture is added to the electrophoresis medium, the minor actinide and the rare earth element are electrophoresed while flowing the electrophoresis medium from the cathode side to the anode side in the capillary, and the flow rate of the electrophoresis medium is changed to v 1. The flow velocity v 1 is adjusted so that v 1 <v 2 <0 <v 3 when the minor actinide migration velocity is v 2 and the rare earth element migration velocity is v 3 . [Selection figure] None |
