abstract | A catalyst capable of quickly eliminating the effects of residual catalyst such as the generation of fish eyes when switching from a transition metal catalyst having a high molecular weight polyolefin forming ability to a transition metal catalyst having a low molecular weight polyolefin producing ability A switching method and a method for producing a polyolefin using the same are provided. The present invention provides a method for switching a catalyst in a catalyst tank of a polyolefin production facility, wherein the following steps (1) to (7) are sequentially performed. (1) Step of discharging transition metal catalyst [I] having polyolefin forming ability (2) Step of washing with saturated hydrocarbon solvent (3) Step of washing with saturated hydrocarbon solvent containing electron donating compound (4) A step of washing with a saturated hydrocarbon solvent containing a compound capable of reacting with an electron-donating compound (5) A step of washing with a saturated hydrocarbon solvent again (6) A step of drying with an inert gas (7) A polyolefin forming ability Step of filling transition metal catalyst [II] [Selection] None |
