titleOfInvention Use of rapamycin derivatives in vascular disease and xenografts
abstract There is a need for effective treatments to prevent, control or ameliorate chronic transplant vascular disease. For example, there is a need for the prevention or treatment of restenosis or vascular occlusion as a result of proliferation and migration of intimal smooth muscle cells induced by vascular surgery such as angiogenesis. The present invention finds that the rapamycin derivative of formula I as defined herein inhibits vascular diseases such as vascular remodeling, and in particular prevents or manifests the development of chronic rejection of transplanted organs. Shown to control. [Selection figure] None
