abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a far-infrared radiation fiber exhibiting anti-pilling property, a fabric made of this fiber, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The method mainly comprises a dicarboxylic acid unit mainly composed of terephthalic acid units and a diol unit mainly composed of ethylene glycol units, and has the formula (Wherein R 1 and R 2 each independently represents an alkyl group having 3 to 8 carbon atoms), which is a polyester modified with a phosphoric acid dialkyl ester, The far-infrared radiating fiber whose polyester (A) whose content of the phosphorus atom derived is 0.9-1.3 mol% with respect to all the carboxylic acid components which comprise polyester contains 5 weight% or more of titanium dioxide.
