abstract Provided is a rubber composition having excellent weather resistance while using a plant wax derived from a natural product. A rubber composition containing 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of a vegetable wax with respect to 100 parts by weight of a rubber component, wherein the content of the hydrocarbon component in the vegetable wax is 30 to 60. It is characterized by being in the range of% by weight. As the vegetable wax, it is preferable to use candelilla wax alone. It is suitable for sidewalls and treads of pneumatic tires.
