abstract |
A cation exchange membrane used for salt production is improved in concentration performance without increasing the electric resistance as compared with a conventionally used membrane. SOLUTION: A porous substrate made of polyolefin is filled with a polymerizable mixture containing styrene having a functional group capable of introducing a sulfonic acid group and divinylbenzene, and thermal polymerization is performed. A cation exchange membrane for salt production in which pores of a porous substrate made of polyolefin are filled with a copolymer having a sulfonic acid group. [Selection] Figure 1 |
