abstract | The present invention relates to a method for easily producing a cellulosic polymer porous material in a short process without previously synthesizing a cellulose ester from a cellulosic polymer and without using a solvent with a high environmental load. An apparatus which can be implemented industrially advantageously is provided. A cellulosic polymer and an esterifying agent are heated in the presence of an acid catalyst to dissolve the cellulosic polymer, and then the cellulosic polymer is mixed with the solution.
