titleOfInvention Friction material composition and friction material using friction material composition
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction material composition for obtaining a friction material having good rust removing properties and brake judder characteristics without adversely affecting the human body, and a friction material using the same. In a friction material composition including a binder and an inorganic substance, biosoluble inorganic fibers as the inorganic substance are contained in an amount of 1.5 to 7.5% by mass in the entire composition, and the inorganic substance is mixed with Morse. A friction material composition is obtained by containing 3.0-5.5 times the total amount of the inorganic substance having a hardness exceeding 6.0 with respect to the total amount of the inorganic substance having a Mohs hardness of 4.0-6.0. Moreover, a friction material is obtained using this friction material composition. [Selection figure] None
