abstract | 【Task】 Provided is a method for producing a flame-resistant polymer-containing dispersion having high flame resistance more inexpensively and simply. Specifically, an object is to provide a method for producing a flame resistant polymer-containing dispersion using a small amount of a cheaper nucleophile. Moreover, it aims at reducing the waste generated after dispersion medium collection | recovery. [Solution] By using 0.1 wt% or less metal hydroxide with respect to 100 parts by weight of acrylonitrile polymer, the amount of nucleophile was successfully reduced. In addition, it was found that the waste remaining after recovery of the dispersion medium can be reduced. That is, the present invention provides a flame resistant polymer-containing dispersion characterized by reacting a nucleophile containing 0.1 parts by weight or less of a metal hydroxide and an oxidizing agent with respect to 100 parts by weight of an acrylonitrile-based polymer.
