abstract Disclosed is a particle having excellent anisotropy performance by locally coating a particle surface of a base powder with a hydrophobic substance. And the efficient manufacturing method of this anisotropic particle is provided. An anisotropic particle characterized in that the particle surface of the base powder is densely coated locally with a hydrophobic substance. The anisotropic particles are mixed and stirred with a non-aqueous solvent phase and a substance that expresses hydrophobicity chemically bonded by a condensation reaction with the base powder, and then an aqueous phase in which the base powder is dispersed is added, A substance that exhibits hydrophobicity at the interface between the non-aqueous solvent phase and the aqueous phase undergoes a condensation reaction and is obtained by a production method comprising chemically bonding to the base powder.
