abstract |
Disclosed is a waste liquid treatment apparatus capable of efficiently decomposing and removing organic substances in an organic substance-containing waste liquid, and a treatment method therefor. A waste liquid treatment apparatus 1 according to the present invention generates a ozone gas by a multistage ozone reaction tank 4 composed of a plurality of reaction tanks configured to continuously process an organic substance-containing waste liquid. An ozone gas supply means 13 for supplying ozone gas to the ozone reaction tank 4, an ozone gas dissolving means 20 for dissolving the ozone gas supplied from the ozone gas supply means 13 in an organic substance-containing waste liquid, and a second tank 4b of the multistage ozone reaction tank 4 This is provided with an alkali supply means 25 that is provided thereafter and supplies an alkali agent to the organic substance-containing waste liquid in the ozone reaction tank 4.
