abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide excellent electrical characteristics such as charging property, sensitivity and responsiveness, as well as excellent oxidation-resistant gas properties such as ozone resistance and nitrogen oxide resistance. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in electrical durability and an image forming apparatus including the same. A multilayer photosensitive layer is formed on a conductive support made of a conductive material, in which a charge generation layer containing a charge generation material and a charge transport layer containing a charge transport material are laminated in this order. An electrophotographic photosensitive member, wherein the charge transport layer contains an oxidation-resistant gas additive, and the charge generation layer contains a specific diamine compound.
