titleOfInvention Method for reducing motion artifacts in highly limited medical images
abstract The HYPR process is improved so that a high-quality image can be obtained even if the object moves during scanning. A composite image for use in HYPR processing of a current image frame is created. The amount of a priori data used to create the composition is determined by the amount of subject motion. The current composite image is spatially registered in the current image frame to offset object motion before being used to create an updated composite image. The motion of the object is analyzed for each frame, each region, or each pixel, and the SNR of the updated composite image is optimized. [Selection figure] None
