Provided is a chromium-plated part which has high corrosion resistance and can exhibit a white silver design similar to or equivalent to hexavalent chromium plating based on decorative trivalent chromium plating. A nickel plating layer 5a for dispersing a corrosion current is formed on a substrate 2, and a trivalent chromium film having a thickness of 0.05 to 2.5 μm using basic chromium sulfate as a metal supply source on the surface thereof. A chromium compound film 7 having a thickness of 7 nm or more is formed thereon by cathodic acid electrolytic chromate treatment. The corrosion-dispersed nickel plating layer 5a has a function of causing the surface chrome plating layer 6 to generate a microporous structure, a microcrack structure, or both of these structures.
