titleOfInvention | Viscosity improver |
abstract | [Problem] To provide a viscosity improver capable of imparting excellent finishing properties (smoothness, sharpness, sagging prevention, etc.). (Meth) acrylic acid (salt) (a); (R 1 is a hydrogen atom or methyl, R 2 and R 3 are hydrogen atoms, methyl or ethyl, R 4 is a residue obtained by removing a hydrogen atom from a hydroxyl group of cyclic terpene monoalcohol or sterine, and n is an integer of 3 to 60. A monomer (b) represented by formula (1), an alkyl (meth) acrylate (c) having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group, and a polyfunctional monomer (d) as essential constituent monomers. Containing a copolymer Based on the total weight of the monomer units a to d, the content of the a unit is 0.1 to 50% by weight, the content of the b unit is 5 to 60% by weight, and the content of the c unit is 5 to 5%. A viscosity improver having 60% by weight and a d unit content of 0.05 to 5% by weight is used. [Selection figure] None |
