abstract |
In a gas phase polymerization process in which heat of reaction is mainly removed by the vaporization heat of liquefied propylene, the flowability of the polymer is reduced in the continuous production of propylene polymers, particularly low crystalline propylene polymers. Provided is a method for producing a propylene-based polymer by reducing the bulk polymer which is in good condition and hinders stable operation. A method for continuously producing a propylene polymer by a gas phase polymerization process in which heat of reaction is removed mainly by heat of vaporization of liquefied propylene, Vaporized propylene recycle gas supplied to the reactor of the polymerization process has a temperature of + 3 ° C. higher than the temperature of liquefied propylene and + 20 ° C. lower than the polymerization temperature.
