titleOfInvention | Ink-receptive particles, recording apparatus, recording material, and ink-receptive particle storage cartridge |
abstract | To provide ink receiving particles capable of receiving various inks and suppressing chargeability deterioration due to absorbed moisture. Another object of the present invention is to provide a recording material, a recording apparatus, and an ink receiving particle storage cartridge using the ink receiving particles. For example, charge is injected into a charged region of an intermediate transfer member 12, and charged ink receiving particles 16 are supplied to form a particle layer. An ink droplet is ejected onto the particle layer to form an image. As a result, ink is received by the ink receiving particles 16. The recording medium 8 is superposed on the intermediate transfer member 12, and the ink receiving particle layer is transferred onto the recording medium 8 and then fixed. The ink receiving particles applied to this recording apparatus include a hydrophilic organic resin having a ratio of polar monomers to 10 mol% or more and 90 mol% or less with respect to all monomer components, and a volume resistivity of 1 × 10 3 Ω. Ink-receptive particles that are m or more and 1 × 10 14 Ω · m or less are applied. [Selection] Figure 5 |
