abstract In a lens having a three-layer structure in which an intermediate layer is formed by curing a photosensitive epoxy monomer, a predetermined lens layer is thinned in advance and the intermediate layer is deformed even if the intermediate layer is formed. To provide a method of manufacturing a plastic lens that does not cause the problem. A front lens piece is molded with first and second molds, only the first mold is removed, and a gel sheet is attached to the exposed front lens piece. Then, the first mold 1 is put on the gel sheet 7 and the second mold is removed. The rear lens piece 8 is arranged facing the spacer 9 with the front lens piece 3 exposed again.
