abstract | Provided is a method for producing a lithographic printing plate material that produces a positive lithographic printing plate material having excellent scratch resistance, high sensitivity and excellent image reproduction uniformity with high production efficiency. A method for producing a lithographic printing plate material, comprising: a step of applying an image forming layer coating solution on an aluminum support and drying to form an image forming layer; and a step of overlaying slip sheets on the image forming layer. The image forming layer contains an alkali-soluble resin, a photothermal conversion compound and a fluorine-based compound, and the step of stacking the slip sheets is performed at a humidity of 40% RH (relative humidity) or more and 80% RH (relative humidity) or less.
