abstract The present invention provides a coated electric wire coated with a coating material having excellent electrical characteristics, heat resistance, and crack resistance characteristics. The present invention comprises a TFE unit derived from tetrafluoroethylene [TFE] and a PAVE unit derived from perfluoro (alkyl vinyl ether) [PAVE], wherein the PAVE unit is a total monomer unit of 5%. The core wire is coated with a TFE copolymer that is more than 20% by mass and less than 20% by mass, has less than 10 unstable terminal groups per 1 × 10 6 carbon atoms, and has a melting point of 260 ° C. or higher.
