In a non-aqueous electrolyte battery using an olivine-based positive electrode, when graphite is used as a negative electrode active material, the lithium (Li) insertion reaction into the graphite is slow, so that the battery is rapidly charged at a high rate of current. There is a problem that polarization at the time of the charging reaction is increased and a sufficient charge capacity cannot be obtained, or lithium (Li) is deposited on the graphite of the negative electrode active material and cycle characteristics are deteriorated. . The subject of this invention is providing the nonaqueous electrolyte battery which solves such a subject produced in the negative electrode side in the battery which has an olivine type positive electrode, and has the outstanding battery characteristic. A non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprising a positive electrode including a lithium metal phosphate compound having an olivine-type crystal structure, a negative electrode using a negative electrode active material capable of doping and dedoping lithium, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. A non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprising inorganic oxide nanoparticles in the negative electrode active material. [Selection] Figure 1 |
