abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method capable of efficiently removing impurities contained in a synthesized polyglycerol dendrimer (PGD) and enabling use as a medical material or the like. The synthesized polyglycerol dendrimer is purified by contacting with at least one selected from alumina and activated carbon. The polyglycerol dendrimer to be purified is a polyglycerol dendrimer synthesized by repeating the step of allylating a hydroxyl group and the step of converting the allyl group into a hydroxyl group by osmium acid oxidation.
