Ball bearing |
abstract |
A ball bearing structure for an automobile that can sufficiently suppress the occurrence of abnormal noise during cold start without using a predetermined high-performance lubricating grease. In the ball bearing, the radius of curvature Ro of the circular groove formed on the rolling surface of the outer ring 2 and the radius of curvature Ri of the circular groove formed on the rolling surface of the inner ring 1 are used for this ball bearing. It is assumed that the ball bearing is used in an electrical equipment or an auxiliary machine of an automobile that satisfies the following expressions (I) and (II) with respect to the moving body diameter D. 1.5 ≦ | 100 (Ro / D−Ri / D) | (I) 100 (Ro / D + Ri / D) <104 (II) Curvature of the circular groove formed on the rolling surface of the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 1 By providing a predetermined difference in the radius, the required amount of lubricating grease for starting lubrication is temporarily added to the circular grooves of either or both of the inner and outer rings 1 and 2 without impairing the function of the normal rolling surface. A minute space or oil passage is formed for holding or guiding to a lubrication point. [Selection] Figure 1 |
