abstract [PROBLEMS] To effectively obtain a transparent coating film that can take advantage of the texture and design of a base material at normal times, and has sufficient strength in the event of a fire, and is effective in increasing the temperature of the base material. Provided is a foamable refractory paint that can effectively obtain a foam layer that can be suppressed. The present invention relates to a foamable refractory paint containing a binder, a phosphorus compound, a foaming agent, a carbonizing agent and a foaming layer stabilizer, wherein (1) the foaming layer stabilizer has a refractive index of 1.4. -1.8 and an average particle size of 0.01-50 μm, (2) the foamed layer stabilizer is contained in an amount of 40-200 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the solid content of the binder, (3 ) A foamable fireproof paint characterized in that the coating film formed by the paint has a concealment rate of 10% or less.
