abstract |
An acrylic polymer production method capable of producing a high molecular weight acrylic polymer while suppressing an increase in viscosity of a polymer solution is realized. A method for producing an acrylic polymer according to the present invention is a method for producing an acrylic polymer by solution polymerization of a monomer composition containing a hydroxyl group-containing monomer and a (meth) acrylic acid ester. Including a step of performing polymerization under a condition where the concentration of the monomer composition in the polymerization solution is 45% by mass or more, and in the step, the polymerization solution contains an alcohol having no polymerizable group.
