PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow particle for inkjet white ink having excellent characteristics in terms of L * value, adhesiveness, viscosity and sedimentation, a method for producing the same, and an inkjet white ink excellent in ink characteristics. . SOLUTION: This hollow particle for inkjet white ink has an unsaturated carboxylic acid on the surface of a hollow substrate particle (A) made of a highly crosslinked polymer having a number average particle diameter in the range of 0.05 to 3.0 μm. A copolymer film is formed from a monomer mixture (B) comprising 0.5 to 80% by mass of the monomer and 20 to 99.5% by mass of another monomer copolymerizable therewith, and the number average particle size is 0. 1 to 5.0 μm, and hollow covering particles having a hollow ratio in the range of 13 to 61%. The hollow coated particles form a copolymer film by polymerizing the monomer mixture (B) in the presence of the hollow base particles (A) and an emulsifier. [Selection figure] None |
