abstract An dysentery amoeba is produced by inhibiting an infection process by cell adhesion of a worm body, or by damaging the worm body by an action through complement or antibody-dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC) or other immune mechanisms. Of protein fragments with vaccine efficacy against A protein fragment comprising an epitope specific for Shigella amoeba and having an epitope that is common to all strains of polymorphisms, having immunogenicity against Shigella amoeba, and having a specific amino acid sequence. And a vector containing the DNA encoding the same, and a method for producing the protein fragment. Since the fragment is a small molecule, it becomes an dysentery amoeba vaccine that can be efficiently produced in E. coli and stably supplied in large quantities. [Selection figure] None
