titleOfInvention | Spunlike two-layer structure yarn with excellent water repellency |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to impart excellent water repellency to a two-layer structure yarn (composite wrapping yarn) having a spun-like appearance and texture, and can be used for an initial period of time by long-term use or repeated washing. The object is to make a spunlike-like two-layer structure yarn in which the water repellency does not decrease. A filament-like yarn having a low elongation forms a core portion, and a filament yarn having a higher elongation than the filament yarn surrounds the core portion in an alternating twisted yarn to form an outer layer portion. In the two-layer structured yarn, the filament yarn of the outer layer portion can be solved by using a polyester fiber having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.61 dl / g or more containing a specific amount of an ester-reactive silicone compound having a specific structure.
