abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing self-association type magnetic lipid nanoparticles, which can be applied to a drug delivery system and the like, comprising magnetic nanocrystals coated with a fat-soluble surfactant and a fat-soluble drug. In particular, the self-association type simplifies the manufacturing process and facilitates the enhancement of the performance of magnetic lipid nanoparticles by changing the particle composition. SOLUTION: A lipid-soluble magnetic fluid is prepared by dispersing a magnetic nanocrystal coated with a fat-soluble surfactant in a fat-soluble organic solvent, and a fat-soluble drug or the like is dissolved in the magnetic fluid. Add water-in-oil type reverse micelles by irradiation with ultrasonic waves. Provided is a method for producing self-association-type magnetic lipid nanoparticles, characterized in that a fat-soluble organic solvent is removed by rapid and powerful decompression while irradiating ultrasonic waves following reverse micelles.
