titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of self-forming optical waveguide |
abstract | A growth end is scanned in a desired direction when a self-forming optical waveguide is formed. One end 10be of an optical fiber 10b similar to one end 10ae of an optical fiber 10a is immersed in a photo-curable resin liquid 11. A laser beam having a wavelength of 488 nm from an argon ion laser is introduced into the other end of the optical fiber 10a, and the photocurable resin liquid 11 is irradiated from one end 10ae to form a cured product, and a mode-locked titanium sapphire laser. The control light having a wavelength of 800 nm was condensed and scanned near the growth end of the cured product. In accordance with the growth rate of the cured product of 0.2 mm / min, the condensing point of the control light is scanned at a speed of 0.2 mm / min so as to smoothly connect the one end 10ae of the optical fiber 10a and the one end 10be of the optical fiber 10b. A slowly curved shaft-shaped cured product 11c was obtained. [Selection] Figure 2 |
