abstract |
An n-type oxide thermoelectric material that can reduce thermal conductivity and specific resistance and has excellent thermoelectric properties and a simple manufacturing method thereof are provided. SOLUTION: After at least calcining a mixture of strontium oxide and titanium oxide, the calcined product is sintered in an atmosphere containing hydrogen gas, or at least a mixture of strontium oxide and titanium oxide is used. After calcining, the calcined product and the hydrogenated compound are mixed and sintered to obtain a strontium-titanium compound containing a hydrogen atom as a constituent element, which is used as a thermoelectric material.
