titleOfInvention Biological deodorization method and biological deodorization apparatus
abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for operating a biological deodorization apparatus capable of continuously maintaining the activity of microorganisms without requiring complicated operation operations or complicated equipment structures and continuously performing a stable deodorization operation, and to the same. A biological deodorization apparatus that can be used is provided. In performing deodorizing treatment continuously while washing a microorganism carrier by a washing means and supplying nutrients to a microorganism by a nutrient supply means, “carbon derived from malodorous components removed from gas to be treated” The deodorizing treatment is performed while maintaining the relationship between the “amount” and the “amount of nitrogen derived from the nutrient salt supplied to the microorganisms by the nutrient supply means” within a predetermined range. Deodorization treatment is performed while maintaining the moisture content of the microbial carrier within a specified range. While supplying nutrient salts, the nutrient solution is repeatedly used, and the nitrogen concentration in the nutrient solution is monitored to control the nitrogen concentration. By doing so, the relationship between the amount of carbon derived from malodorous components and the amount of nitrogen derived from nutrient salts supplied to microorganisms is controlled.
