abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing an electrode used in a solid oxide fuel cell. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for producing a ceramic electrode that provides high ionic and electronic conductivity, high porosity and high surface area. Furthermore, the method of the present invention allows controlled and optimized properties of the ionic and electronic phases for specific operating conditions. Advantageously, the method of the present invention allows the production of SOFC electrodes using inexpensive techniques that do not require low processing temperatures and no special equipment.
