abstract | An automatic adjustment and / or self-placement indwelling urethral device is provided. The device generally comprises a prostate urethral stent body and a urethral anchoring element. The prostatic urethral stent body includes a preconfigured end portion for anchoring and receiving within the bladder, and the urethral anchoring element extends from the prostatic urethral stent body by a coupling mechanism. Engagement of the proximal anchor with the bladder, which is delimited by the preconfigured end portion of the stent body, has no or minimal effect on the triangular region. |
