abstract The present invention includes a carcass structure (CS) that includes at least one carcass ply and includes a crown portion and two axially opposed sides that terminate in a bead (B) for mounting a tire on a rim. A tread band (TB); and a belt (7) structure interposed between the carcass structure and the tread band. The bead (B) includes a bead core (5). The bead core (5) includes at least one first elongated element (31) comprising at least one metal wire and at least one second elongated element comprising at least one carbon fiber. The bead core (5) according to the invention increases the bead forcing, improves the bead unseat resistance and reduces the weight.
