abstract | The present invention relates to a fluorescence multiplex PCR assay for detecting the presence of HPV type nucleic acid sequences in a sample using multiple fluorophores to simultaneously detect multiple HPV genes of the same HPV type. Here, the HPV type is selected from the group consisting of HPV31, HPV45, HPV52 and HPV58. The invention also relates to oligonucleotide primers and probes specific for the HPV type for use in the methods of the invention. |
