Electrochemical deprotection solution for electrochemical oligomer synthesis on electrode arrays |
abstract |
An electrochemical deprotection solution for use on an electrode microarray is disclosed. Furthermore, a method for electrochemical synthesis on an electrode array using the electrochemical deprotection solution is disclosed. The solutions and methods of the present invention provide for the ability to react against acids while synthesizing oligonucleotides, peptides, micromolecules, or polymers on an electrode microarray while substantially improving the sequestration that occurs only with the active electrode. For removing unstable and unstable protecting groups. The method of the present invention includes applying a voltage or current to at least one electrode of an electrode array. The electrode array is covered with an electrochemical deprotection solution. |
