titleOfInvention | How to make high quality optical components by casting |
abstract | A casting method, not injection molding, is provided which creates a polymer optical member and an optical mechanism. This casting process controls shrinkage and strain, and thus incorporates a polymer film into the mold so that the entire surface has a high uniformity, high quality and accuracy. The films remain on the part or are optionally removed from the part after releasing the part. In addition, separately manufactured components can also be incorporated into the molded part, thereby eliminating the subsequent assembly manufacturing process. [Selection] Figure 4 |
